I have a broad
range of commercial civil litigation, finance, and transactional
experience. I am comfortable with
all manners of dispute resolution including mediation, arbitration, going
to court and acquiring a judgment at trial.
I am on the board of directors and serve as general counsel for
companies in technology, real estate management, and motion picture
financing.
I am a licensed real estate broker and I have
extensive experience in business and real estate transactions ranging from
residential properties up to multi-million dollar hotels and their
associated franchise agreements, representing agents, brokers, escrow
officers, buyers, and of course sellers.
I have fought substantial litigation matters for plaintiff,
defendant, and the insurance company, on motions, depositions, and in
trial.
Like most excellent litigators, I consider myself an
expert in evidence – i.e., proof and proving facts. I can do sophisticated title searches for
real property. I can find and
identify assets. I know how to weigh
evidence. I can secure and enforce
judgments in state and federal court, appoint receivers to liquidate
assets, secure orders to law enforcement, secure all forms of Temporary
Restraining Orders, and I can defend against them, too. The procedures are complicated and when
you need the best attorney, when you need to win, you come to me.
I have successfully assisted clients to start-up
numerous profitable businesses in many sectors including property
management companies, the entertainment industry, the luxury auto parts
industry, the skin care industry, and others. I continue to do community service as
swim coach and as an ocean lifeguard.

I continue to do community
service by providing general water and beach safety, educating on
ordinances on weekends and in the summer.
I am expert with all surf equipment and I shape my own surfboards. I surf, swim, paddle, and run sand in the
ocean series competitions. I am
occasionally given supervisory tasks over other lifeguards, but prefer to
be assigned a stretch of beach to guard, rescue, and keep safe.

I continue to do community
service by coaching master level swimmers which includes beginner level
through Olympic caliber athletes.

including intellectual property, entertainment law, computer law, real
estate, insurance defense, insurance coverage, bodily injury evidentiary
